Replicating the classic style of the colonial door knocker that first appeared on Federal and Colonial style homes in the 1600s, this upgraded version retains the same elegance as the original and couples it with a high level of functionality in the form of added safety.
Made from solid brass, the Traditional Antique Brass Door Knocker is all-weather and easily stands up to constant use in high traffic areas of your home, office or apartment building. Plus, you can make it your own by engraving up to nine characters on the front plate!
Measuring 3 15/16 inches center to center with a projection of 1 1/8 inches, these unique door knockers provide a subtle accent to any entryway.
Don't forget to select a finish in the drop down menu. Finish options are: Polished Brass (as shown), Antique Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Satin Nickel, Pewter/Antique Nickel, and Weathered Black. Please note that the Pewter and Antique Nickel are identical finishes.
Remember this brass door knocker can be customized with optional engraving. Please select if you want engraving and fill in the First Line space with up to 9 characters to customize the door knocker.
