What does vitrified mean? Vitrification is the process during manufacturing where the clay and glaze in the address plaque are heated up together to a temperature that permanently fuses the particles together. When the ceramic material has been vitrified, it is impervious to water and will hold up against the elements when it hangs on the outside of your home.
Each ceramic address marker is customized with an inscription color and year. Color choices are red, green, blue or black. A cream colored glaze creates a clean background for the address plate. Included is a lawn state that measures 12.25 inches.
