Few animals represent the concepts of strength and regality more readily than the American eagle. And it's faithfully reproduced in the Eagle Door Knocker from Brass Accents.
Crafted from 100 percent solid brass, these unique decorative door knockers feature the symbol of freedom with its wings spread, fronted by a shield that allows for optional engraving. Unlike other door knockers, the Eagle Knocker can be personalized to include a single initial or monogram up to three characters.
Best of all, each is handmade by pressing hot extruded rods into design dies and then tooled, chased and polished, producing a handmade product that reflects the personal artisan craftsmanship that is often lost in mass production. The Eagle Knocker measures 5 7/8 inches, 3 1/8 inches from center to center, and features a 1 1/4 inch projection, instantly grabbing the attention of anyone who shows up at your door.
Don't forget to select a finish option in the drop down menu. Finish options are: Polished Brass (as shown), Antique Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Satin Nickel, Pewter/Antique Nickel, and Weathered Black. Please note that the Pewter and Antique Nickel are identical finishes.
Also, remember to customize with optional engraving. The space for engraving can hold up to 3 characters. Characters will measure: single character will be approximately 1 1/2", two characters approximately 3/4", and 3 characters approximately 1/2" per character. Please select if you want engraving and fill in the First Line space with up to 3 characters to customize the door knocker.
